Wellness and Preventive Medicine

We recommend age-based wellness exams at all life stages:  growing puppy and kitten exams, yearly exams for adult pets and exams every six months for your aging pets.

A wellness exam consists of evaluation of all of your pet's major organ systems.  We use your pet's wellness exam to answer any questions that you may have about your pet's health. (no question is too big or too small or silly!)  We also use that time to ask you questions about your pet's behavior, appetite, exercise habits, and regular activities at home.  Based on your pet's age and wellness we may recommend diagnostic tests that may tell our doctors about any conditions that may be starting to develop.
